Cast your mind back… Four years ago, we met with our client, Kimberley, to discuss how we could help her to transform the ground floor living space of her grand Victorian home. Her family was growing and their lifestyle and living patterns were struggling to work in a property that was designed for family life over a hundred years ago.

It’s that time of year again, the clocks have gone back and our lives feel as though they are now shrouded in darkness, until we see glimmers of light appear in the New Year.

Light, we take it for granted and rarely think about it on a daily basis, but it is the centre of solar system, the driving force behind our world and reason we have sight. We have created time around the cycle of the daylight hours we experience on our planet and it is our primary source of energy, without light we could not exist.
