Croft Architecture's COVID 19 Safeguarding Measure

Croft Architecture's COVID-19 Safeguarding Measures

Croft Architecture takes the health and safety of our staff, clients and everyone involved in projects extremely seriously.

What are we doing?

We wanted to let you know directly what steps we're taking to ensure we are prepared for different scenarios and complying with Government advice.

Like you, we are carefully monitoring the latest news and expert advice regarding the coronavirus outbreak and are regularly assessing any implications for our activities and projects. We are working hard to ensure that any risk and disruption is minimised implementing precautionary measures where necessary to reduce the spread of the virus, whilst ensuring that we can remain fully functioning for our clients.

Our aim is to continue working as normal with as little disruption as possible. The overall risk to staff and clients remains relatively low, but we have identified some key risks:

  • Staff entering their homes or workplaces of clients

  • Staff in our offices and other buildings coming into contact with a staff member or customer who could be infected.

Ongoing precautionary measures:

  • Staff emailed to highlight risk and hygiene measures to be adopted.

  • Soap and spray located around the office.

  • Disposable towel/kitchen roll for drying hands.

  • Staff are practising ‘social distancing’ in and outside of the office.

  • Regular and thorough cleaning daily.

  • Staff work stations are already to spaced more than two metres apart and they will maintain a safe distance at all other times.

Operational measures:

  • When required staff will continue work-from-home as per our regular business continuity plan.

  • Unnecessary site activities are to be minimised and virtual meetings to be held.

  • If staff must visit site they may be advised to travel in separate vehicles when more than one person is required.

  • Key supplies of anti-bacterial wet wipes, hand towels, disposable gloves, toilet rolls have been bought and ordered.

  • Office visits by appointment only.

Business as normal

We will continue to operate during standard business hours. Our phone and email systems are working as normal - so please stay in touch.

Our team are used to working with remote clients and we'll continue to utilise our office software whilst working remotely. This means that business will continue as normal! Our team will be able to share information and interact with clients, via email (as normal) and any meetings can be held via Zoom (so we can see each other and share our screens), FaceTime, Teams or Whatsapp .

It is our intention to continue to work with our clients and the project teams so that when the time comes, and COVID-19 has been defeated - our projects (and lives) can continue on, without delay. We feel this is vitally important for our health and for the UK economy.

We will continue to appraise new sites and we welcome new enquiries whilst working with our existing clients to keep their projects moving forwards.

In addition to these measures we would also like to reassure you that we will continue to comply with the government guidelines, as they evolve. www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19

Whilst we are facing the most uncertain of times, we are certainly trying to ensure it’s business as usual!
