We’re extremely excited to congratulate our very own Anthony Walker this month on 5 years at Croft Architecture.
Croft Architecture celebrates the anniversary of Anthony Walker today. Anthony has been part of the Croft Architecture family five years now and deserves recognition for his loyalty and hard work.
As part of our loyalty recognition scheme, Anthony was treated to a lunchtime trip to the local pub with the rest of the Croft Architecture team and an extra day’s holiday for five years continuous service.
How it all began
Anthony has been a hard-working and dedicated member of the team ever since he joined us at our Stafford HQ office in 2013.
Upon joining the Croft Architecture team Anthony took on the role of architectural assistant, qualifying as architect in just three years which is a real testament to his drive and ambition.
Having gained the RIBA Parts 1 and 2 whilst studying at The University of the West England, in Bristol and working part time in practice, has allowed Anthony to be actively involved on a diverse range of projects within a variety of sectors, from small scale works to million-pound developments.
Anthony progressed well, and we are delighted to have been able to support him through his Part 3 professional development to qualify as an architect at the University of Nottingham in 2016.
A passion for design
During his professional studies and working at Croft Architecture Anthony has developed a broad knowledge and understanding, which has not only facilitated his educational progress, but also his professional development in practice, where he has actively been involved with numerous projects through every stage of the design process from start to finish. Working in practice has also provided Anthony with the opportunity to get involved with the daily operations of the business and how to manage a growing architectural practice.
Anthony has a passion for design, developing a particular interest and strong expertise in 3D visualisation. He can transfer 2D drawings into realistic and compelling 3D visualisations that bring new spaces and places into a reality for people.
He has actively worked on numerous projects to achieve sustainable design solutions to obtain BREEAM rated accreditation, ensuring a minimal environmental impact through design, responsibly resourced materials, subtle integration of technologies and innovative construction techniques.
Managing Director Carl Croft says,
"I'm extremely proud of Anthony. It’s great to see that his years of dedication at university, in office and at home have produced the results he has worked so hard for.
It is obvious that his passion for design, the desire to qualify as an architect and the enjoyment of his job at Croft Architecture has driven him to succeed.
Since joining Croft Architecture back in 2013 Anthony's worked on a wide range of projects, gained an incredible amount of experience and we've had a bit of fun in the office observing Anthony's changing hairstyles over the years too!
Five years later, he's managing projects with his own team of architectural assistants and doing a sterling job. Anthony is someone we consider as a future leader and very much part of the Croft Architecture family.”
The amount Anthony has achieved in 5 years is extraordinary. He’s shown the ability to adapt that’s second to none and moving forward we’re certain he'll continue to shine throughout his career here with us. We look forward to seeing where his ambition takes him within the company over the years to come.
Thanks Anthony. And once again, congratulations on your five-year anniversary at Croft Architecture!
Thanks to all our loyal and hard-working staff, Croft Architecture couldn’t do it without you!
