Croft Architecture Limited has won the appointment to design a new £35 million residential care village in Weymouth alongside the 2012 Olympic yachting venue.
After beating strong competition from a number of national practices to win the appointment, we are now developing the preliminary designs ready to make a planning application in 2012.
We have produces a sensitive design which responds well to the site context adjacent the harbour side setting. The extensive facilities will also be available to the local community.
We have just returned from a very well-attended public consultation exercise with local residents in Weymouth and we were very pleased with the extremely positive feedback to our designs.
